PM Power Lines was founded by Dylan and Emily Mihailov, a husband-and-wife team whose professional backgrounds, work ethic, and commitment to their community have come together to build a family-owned business dedicated to providing dependable, quality service.
A Family Legacy in Line Work
For Dylan, line work is more than a career—it is a family legacy spanning three generations.
Dylan graduated from Maplewood High School and attended the Crawford County Career and Technical Center in Meadville, Pennsylvania, where he received training in automotive mechanics. In 2012, he began his career with IBEW Local 1319 in the electrical line trade, following in the footsteps of both his father and grandfather. After years of hands-on experience and continued professional growth, Dylan achieved the rank of Journeyman Lineman in 2018 and has continued working in the line industry ever since.
Dylan's late father, Patrick Mihailov, was a Journeyman Lineman and played an important role in inspiring Dylan's career in the trade. Dylan's grandfather, Eli Mihailov, was also a Journeyman Lineman, making Dylan a third-generation Journeyman Lineman carrying on a family tradition built on skill, dedication, and pride in the trade.
All three generations of the Mihailov family are proud members of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers. Dylan and his father, Patrick, are both members of IBEW Local 1319, while Dylan's grandfather, Eli, was also a member of the IBEW Local 459 of Penelec. The union tradition represents another important part of the family's history in the electrical line trade and reflects the values of training, craftsmanship, safety, brotherhood, and dedication to the profession.
The name PM Power Lines was chosen as a tribute to Dylan's father, Patrick Mihailov. The initials "PM" are a lasting reminder of his father's influence and the legacy he passed down to Dylan. What began as a family tradition has become part of the foundation on which PM Power Lines was built.
Beyond line work, Dylan has also spent years helping operate and manage his family's maple operation, Frost Ridge Maple Farm. His experience in both industries has reinforced the importance of hard work, reliability, teamwork, and taking pride in a job well done.
Emily's Background
Emily graduated from Meadville Area Senior High School before attending Anderson University, a small Christian university in Anderson, Indiana. She earned her bachelor's degree with a double major in Elementary Education and Special Education.
Following graduation, Emily spent six years teaching first grade in Virginia, where she developed a passion for helping others, building relationships, and creating positive opportunities for the people she served.
After returning home to Meadville, Pennsylvania, Emily spent another six years working as a manager for a nonprofit organization that supported adults with intellectual disabilities in finding and maintaining employment within their communities. Her work gave her extensive experience in leadership, organization, communication, staff management, and serving individuals and families with compassion and respect.

Together, Dylan and Emily bring a combination of hands-on industry experience, leadership, education, management, and a strong commitment to serving others to PM Power Lines.
Their goal is to build a company that reflects the values they were raised with: work hard, treat people fairly, do what you say you're going to do, and take pride in the work you leave behind.
